Arbitration

Our arbitration team is award winning. Consistently ranked as one of the top arbitration teams in the country from the inception of the firm, we specialize in high stakes complex disputes. We are not just arbitration counsel: we combine our knowledge of the arbitration processes with our own advocacy alongside our subject matter mastery in trade, commodities and fraud. We know how to deploy arbitrations effectively as part of a global strategy, often alongside asset recovery and litigation exercises, in cross border situations and under tight timelines.

We have worked on cases involving all major arbitration rules (SIAC, LCIA, ICC, LMAA, HKIAC, GAFTA, FOSFA, LCA) and regularly get engaged on London and Singapore based arbitrations. We have been trusted with mandates fielded against larger law firms and pride ourselves on our client delivery with small teams, leveraging technology and professional litigation support.

Our lawyers have represented state owned entities, oil & gas majors, mining producers, commodities traders, contractors, vessel owners, charterers and lenders in arbitrations. Our expertise spans the full cycle of arbitration, from pre-arbitration strategy through to enforcement of awards in various countries including China, Korea and Indonesia.
