PDLegal establishes India Desk

PDLegal LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Lakshman Shankar as a partner of the firm with effect from 3 June 2021. Lakshman is an Indian qualified lawyer with 24 years of experience. He is registered as a foreign lawyer in Singapore and will head the firm’s newly established India Desk.

Lakshman has worked on a wide range of practice areas in India including commercial litigation, international arbitration, company law and real estate. A former partner at a reputed full-service Indian law firm, Lakshman also worked as General Counsel of a corporate group engaged in multiple business sectors.

Lakshman graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India with a BA, LL.B. (Hons) degree. He also has an LL.M. in Business Law from the National University of Singapore.
